UK and EU business

InterGlobal Insurance Company Ltd (InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited), a UK company registered company, authorised and regulated by the FSA, underwrites private medical insurance policies in the UK and within the European Union by virtue of the EU Freedom of Services Act.

InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited’s sister company, InterGlobal Ltd, (InterGlobal Limited), also registered and authorised by the FSA, provides full insurance company services to InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited including marketing, underwriting, claims assessment and IT systems services.

InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited issues policies of insurance to insureds located in over 160 countries throughout the world either in its own name or through its strategic partners. In some countries policies can be purchased on a non admitted basis. 

Branch and Representative Offices

InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited has a branch office in Singapore which is authorised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and InterGlobal Limited has branch offices in both Singapore and Dubai. InterGlobal also has representative offices in Japan and South Africa.

Strategic Partnerships

InterGlobal’s products are aimed at expatriates, frequent business travellers and international students and it has developed a network of strategic partners in certain principal jurisdictions to offer these products. Policies are offered to insureds in these regions by the locally licensed strategic partners with InterGlobal acting as foreign reinsurer.

Other Business

In all other countries, InterGlobal operates either on the basis of arrangements with local third party administrators with whom it has contractual agreements or direct with individuals or corporations seeking to place IMPI cover for their employees worldwide.
