| International private medical (PMI) insurer InterGlobal has appointed Samantha Bloor as a Medical Advisor within InterGlobal Assistance, the company’s integrated 24/7 Claims-Assistance division to join Caroline Hinder. Samantha further strengthens the operations team responsible for providing a first class medical assistance service to members. Samantha, an Australian national, joins Caroline Hinder as a registered nurse in the UK bringing a wealth of experience from the Assistance industry. Both are trained in aviation medicine and have performed patient transfers from across the globe on commercial airlines and air ambulance for a number of years. InterGlobal Assistance operates from centres in the UK and New Zealand to deliver a highly personalised assistance and claims management service to members worldwide 24/7/365. The service covers all aspects of the assistance process, including advice from medical experts, arranging admittance to hospital, identifying specialists and arranging ambulances as well as medical evacuation by air ambulance or scheduled air service. InterGlobal Assistance helps around 350 members a month with a variety of medical emergencies.
